Relative Analgesia Course
This full day course for dentists is presented in conjunction with ADASA and the Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology (ASDA).

The objective of the course is to enable participants to become proficient and confident in the administration of Relative Analgesia in clinical practice. The courses are endorsed by the Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology and provide an efficient introduction to dental Relative Analgesia. The courses are also an excellent refresher for dentists wishing to update their theoretical and practical skills in the delivery of Relative Analgesia. Participants will be given the opportunity to administer nitrous oxide-oxygen sedation to each other, and to experience themselves the effects of RA in a safe environment.

Dental Sedationist - Sydney Dental Sedations, Councillor and Conference Coordinator - Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology, Visiting Dental Officer - Westmead Hospital Center for Oral Health - Department of Intravenous Sedation. Dr Robert Turnbull has a practice dedicated to providing visiting sedation services to dental surgeries. He also teaches Medical Emergency, Anxiety and Pain Management, Relative Analgesia and LA to Dental Undergraduate and Post-Graduate students in the IV sedation department of Westmead Hospital, the University of Sydney and for the Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology.

Dr Angelo Preketes - BDS(Syd),Grad DipClinDent (Conscious Sedation & Pain Control) Grad DipClinDent (Oral Implants),Clinical Associate (Syd Uni). Dr Preketes is the Secretary for ASDA and sits in the Dental Practice Committee for the ADA . He is currently teaching Bachelor of Dentistry students at the University of Sydney in managing medical emergencies at Westmead Hospital . Dr Preketes is also in private practice, focusing on providing pain management techniques to deal with phobic, anxious patients, as well as implant and general dentistry .

Course compliant with section 4 of DBA Guidelines on CPD.
Cost to attend:
ADASA member dentists - $990pp
Non members - $1540pp
Time: 9am - 5pm, registration available from 8.30am.
