CANCELLED -The Business of Dentistry Day - Friday, 12 August 2022

This event has been cancelled. As owners of small businesses, it’s easy to get caught up working in the business and spend no time working on the business.

In response to Members feedback, we are proud to announce our inaugural Business of Dentistry Day for Members and their Practice Managers. This is your opportunity to step back and consider the many issues facing the running of the business. 

It may be current economic conditions, employment issues, cyber security, or infrastructure replacement.  It maybe you just want to know just how well your business is performing.

On this day dedicated to working on your business, you will hear from experts in their field as they guide you through a range of issues critical to the success of a dental practice.

Topics to be presented include:

- Structure Efficiencies and Service Fees
- Maximizing your practice return: An introduction to the key business ratios for your practice
- Social media in dentistry: The do's and don'ts and why you need to care about your digital presence
- New technologies in dental equipment: What is coming and how to maximise your business returns
- Insurance: When did you last do a comprehensive review?
- Data Integrity and ScriptCheckSA - are you prepared?

When: Friday 12 August 2022
Where: The Gallery, National Wine Centre, Corner Botanic and Hackney Roads, Adelaide
Time: 9.30am - 5pm.
From 4pm - 5pm there will be an exclusive Sommelier guided wine tasting showcasing local wines with canapes, hosted by BOQ Specialist.

Cost to attend:

Dentist Member - $200pp
Practice Manager (employed by a member) - $200pp
Dentist Member and Practice Manager (attending together) - $350

Terms and Conditions of Registration

- Registration for events can be cancelled seven (7) days prior to the event for a full refund.
- No refund will be available for cancellation within the seven (7) day period.
- Persons may substitute attendees at any time.  We reserve the right to charge an additional gap fee should the Membership status of the substitute vary to that of the original registrant.
- If you are cancelling due to illness, within 7 days of the event, please contact the office on 08 8272 8111 or email [email protected] 
- It is the responsibility of the registrant to ensure all registration details are correct – the appropriate fees are paid – and all dietary requirements are completed where required.
- A registration is only fully valid once payment has been received.
- Unpaid registrations may be cancelled, and places offered to other Members, if the registration is not paid in full seven (7) days prior to the event.

-  Photographs are occasionally taken of events for the purpose of promotion of future events. This registration grants us permission to use any images taken.
- Registrants who do not wish their image to be taken must notify our Event Coordinator immediately prior to the commencement of the event on the day.
