Enjoyable, Predictable Endodontics Workshop - Saturday, 20 August 2022

The small group environment will allow personalised interaction and considerable hands-on experience.

This workshop has reached capacity. If you would like to go on the cancellation list please email Sally at [email protected]

Endodontics can be a technically demanding aspect of dentistry.  However, with the continued advancement of technology, the predictability of treatment can be enhanced, along with your enjoyment in providing it.  The aim of these courses will be to update participants with some of these advancements and provide useful and practical tips to enhance practitioner’s confidence when undertaking root canal treatment.

This jam packed, one-day course will be presented as an interactive seminar which includes case-based lectures and a practical component using natural teeth and plastic tooth models.  Participants will have the opportunity to practice the use of the latest instrumentation systems and techniques.  Modern obturation techniques will be covered including warm gutta percha technique using Elements IC.

Topics presented include:

  • Case selection for success -interactive lecture
  • Strategies and practical aspects of canal preparation with mechanical NiTi instruments (lecture and hands-on)
  • Modern concepts of canal obturation of the prepared canal (lecture and hands-on)

Participants are asked to bring extracted teeth - the more teeth the better!  Participants are encouraged to bring their loupes (and lights if available) on the day.

The workshop will be presented by Dr Erika Vinczer, BDS, BScDent (Hons), MDSc (Endo) FICD, FPFA
